Mail time...

Earlier I sent a couple of my friends a postcard from New Zealand while I was there back earlier this month. (Side note, if you ever get the chance to go, I'd highly recommend you going. It's worth the 20 hour flight.)
I put it in the mailbox on the 4th of October, and apparently, my friends have just received it today in the mail (on the 30th). 30-4...that's 26 days to get from a Queenstown mailbox to a Toronto mailbox. That took a while.

Then again, it's better than this other time where the postcard didn't show up at all.
Happy Birthday to my dear friend Katherine who turned 20 ....technically "yesterday"...but eh.
Don't forget to roll back, daylight savings! Woo, an extra hour of...sleep/slack/doing nothing-ness.
Happy Halloween kids.

Harlequin Fantasy Bra

That's the beautiful supermodel Marisa Miller posing in Victoria Secret's $3 Million Dollar Bra.
It's made with 18 karat gold net with a 16 karat heart shaped diamond.
I guess you'd have to wear it outside to show it off.
Oh, it's convertible.
The Victoria Secret Fashion Show is going to air on December 1st on CBS this year.
I think she'll wear it there to show it off.

曹格 - Gary Cao

Oh yes, Gary Cao live in Toronto, part of his Canada Live Tour '09. I went there yesterday with Katherine and her friend, and I don't know why Massey Hall wasn't filled, because this guy can flat out sing. Despite the fact that the show started late and didn't go as long as I'd hope it would, it was still worthwhile to hear Gary sing. He even sang other people's songs (all in Cantonese) too!

Apparently, back when he was filming his MV for Superwoman, a fan girl came up to him and asked for a picture...and he noticed her, thought she was really pretty, etc etc, and that girl is now his wife. (Short condensed version of what he said at the concert last night, lol).

Whoever doesn't know about Gary Cao and his singing talent... well, you're missing out.

He has 4 albums out so far: 格格 Blue, Superman, Super Sunshine and Supermarket.

Here's his Superwoman:

超級星光大道: One Million Star

Recently, I've been watching a lot of this Taiwanese based singing contest/show (like American Idol). It started out in 2007 and it's still going strong.
The artists they have on the show are pretty good singers in general, so good music plus a good host and comedy, what more can I ask for?
Season 6 starts Oct. 30th! lol.

Here's a sample: 楊宗緯 (Aska Yang) singing 万芳 (Fang Wan)'s 新不了情 (New Endless Love)

Something new

Because Katherine spends so much time on her blog, I've decided I think I'll try and properly update this thing.
I'm just testing around with what looks good right now. This is kinda...interesting.

On another note, going to Gary Cao concert. I feel so fob. Yeeeeah!
